Skippers aims to ensure that all children have the skills and opportunity to be successful as they move through their future education and onward into the wider world. The Effective Learner Profile has been created with the future in mind. It is a framework within which the children can take ownership of their development of a range of transferable skills. They are able to identify areas of the Effective Learner Profile in which they are confident, but more importantly are also given the opportunity to focus on the areas which they need to develop.
The Effective Learner Profile is a central part of all learning which takes place at Skippers to prepare each child in our community for the 21st century.
