What led you to teaching?
I have a BA in Jurisprudence from Keble College, Oxford and worked as a lawyer in the City for 9 years. After having 3 children I became a reading volunteer as I am passionate about the importance of reading fluency and language skills in school and beyond; this lead to me becoming a TA, supporting learning across the curriculum. I joined Skippers 4 years ago.
What inspires you and what you do?
I am inspired by seeing the positive results of my support and children enjoying their time at school. It is extremely rewarding to see children progress, grow in confidence and take pride in their achievements.
What do you love most about Skippers?
I love it’s positivity, community, wonderful children and Wendy’s amazing cakes!
What was you favourite childhood book?
I am an avid reader and my favourite childhood book was Watership Down.
